Also known as Dave the Potter, Drake was an enslaved African American who made large stoneware pots in the mid-1800s in Edgefield South Carolina. The Fine Arts Museum in San Francisco just bought one of his pots for $369,000. His amazing story will be told by Museum Director Susan Weaver with the use of video.
